Upon arriving at the Arusha National Park gate you will do all the formalities and start trekking. Your commencing 4 days trekking mount meru will be accompanied by armed ranger the first day and last day. This is another amazing tour as you will cross between wildlife and numerous birds.
Surrounded by plains, the mountains slopes rise typically through montane forest, a large region of heather and then moorlands, which, after a few thousand feet, pass into volcanic desert. These different habitats are home to a variety of animals, including giraffe, monkey, baboon, klipspringer, warthog, duiker and leopard. Arusha National Park boasts up to 400 species of birds.
