3 Days Tanzania Shortest Safari
3 Day Tanzania Safari is our short Tanzania Wild Adventure. It is the most affordable Tanzania Safari Adventure in 3 days in the northern circuit. Our three-day Northern Circuit Encounter is a memorable experience of Northern Tanzania’s abundance of wildlife and spectacular scenery. Dubbed ‘Africa’s Garden of Eden’, The Ngorongoro Crater hosts an abundance of wildlife including the exceptionally rare black rhino and it is renowned for maximum game spotting. Exploring the vast plains of savannah in Tarangire National Park and tranquil game drives along the shallow waters of Lake Manyara will leave you feeling enchanted and revitalised.
Day by Day Program
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Early in the morning after having your breakfast our professional driver guide will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to the famous Tarangire National Park. The park is made up of seasonal marshes, bush savannah, the baobab trees. This national park is one of the best places in the whole of East Africa since you get a good chance to watch groups of elephants up-close. Today you will arrive in Tarangire around 10:00 am where you will do game drives, around 7:00 pm drive to the picnic site for lunch. Thereafter proceed with game drives in different parts of the beautiful Tarangire National Park till sun-dawn drive to Lodge for Dinner and Overnight.
Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
Have breakfast and after continue with the lush crater uplands, the fertile soils here also allow crops like corn, wheat, coffee to be able to grow. From Karatu to Serengeti you will have a chance to do game drives on the way crossing the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Later on, you will view the plains of the Serengeti National Park. Before heading to Serengeti National Park you will have Optional to Visit Olduvai Gorge.
This can be seen as the grassland savannah in the southern direction stretches to the horizon and is interrupted by the Kopjes, which are bizarre rock formations that are formed by the weathering of the granite crops. Within the Seronera Valley which is the central Serengeti area, you will get to enjoy an evening meal at the Lodge.
Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Be one of only a few fortunate people to glide in a Hot Air Balloon over the Serengeti Plains (available at supplementary cost by pre-arrangement). Floating silently above the awakening bush, while spotting wildlife and enjoying the amazing scenery of Africa, across rivers and over numerous small villages. After breakfast at the lodge do early game drive in Serengeti and around afternoon we depart to Ngorongoro Conservation area. We arrive in time for dinner at the lodge/campsite and spend overnight. Dinner and overnight as per the standard and type of accommodation option requested. Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After early breakfast we will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife for a half day’s safari tour. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro National Park supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park, is it’s dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually been seen here. In the afternoon after lunch start driving to Arusha.
DAY 1. ARUSHA – TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
In the morning will pick you up from your hotel to start your safari to the Tarangire National Park. The park is roughly the size of Luxemburg and covers an area of about 2,600 km². Bush savannah, seasonal swamps and giant baobab trees make up the landscape of this nature reserve and the park is probably one of the best places in East Africa to see elephants. Not only are there thousands, but they are also relatively accustomed to vehicles so you will be able to get really close to them. Apart from elephants, the park is also home to Masai giraffes, various gazelles, antelopes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, baboons and more than 500 types of birds. After an extensive game drive you will leave the park in the afternoon and drive to Eileen’s tree inn lodge for your overnight stay.
DAY 2. TARANGIRE – NGORONGORO CRATER
After breakfast we descend 600m into this magnificent crater for a morning, half-day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhino. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Crater supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is it’s dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater. Later slowly head out of the crater and drive toward Karatu for diner and overnight at Eileen’s tree inn lodge F/b
DAY 3.NGORONGORO CRATER – LAKE MANYARA
In the morning after breakfast we heading to Lake Manyara National Park. The Lake manyara national park is small park stretches along the 600 m high Rift Valley Escarpment and is dominated by the alkaline Lake Manyara. Many water birds gather at the lake and more than 400 bird species are found in the park. The diverse vegetation provides a habitat for many animals such as monkeys in the forest, giraffes and antelopes on the grasslands and elephants around the acacia trees. If you are very lucky you might also see the Manyara lions, lounging in the trees. In the late afternoon you will leave the Lake Manyara National Park and head to Arusha town to connect with your flight to next destination.
